Who We Are and What We Do
The Leeds Crime Reduction Network (LCRN) brings together organisations working to support both the victims and perpetrators of crime.
Through our work, we support creating safer communities by promoting action, good practice and innovation, discussing shared problems and finding shared solutions.
The LCRN is funded by the Violence Reduction Unit and is facilitated by Voluntary Action Leeds.
How We Work
The network is directed by a group of people from member organisations known as the Planning Group. The group meet regularly to plan and manage the work of the LCRN.
We hold regular network events which look at key themes which our members have told us are important to them and their work. These events enable our members to hear from guest speakers, take part in workshop sessions and network with others. We also hold an annual conference which brings our members together to help set our direction for the year ahead.
LCRN also appoints representatives to strategic partnership groups in the city, including the Safer Leeds Executive. Network membership is open to staff, volunteers and service users of fully constituted organisations whose work has an impact on crime reduction and delivers services in Leeds.
